December Update
Well it’s December, the trail work is done for another seasons and the club is winding down for the winter. We now move our focus to the new year and what we want to accomplish. Of course, there is always lots more trail work, but we also have other things we want to continue…
On Nov. 29, the club attended the Selkirk Santa Parade of lights. The board members had a great time and we were well received. This was a test run for us and next year we will be asking club members to attend as well to make an even bigger showing.
On Dec. 6 we will be attending a presentation at the Pinefalls and District food bank to give all the food items collected from our club rides. Thank you to everyone who donated. We have also been collecting cash donations to give as well. We are trying to get $1000 to present and we are almost there at $790.
In the new year the board will be planning our next season. We already have our tentative ride schedule posted. Let’s hope there are no fire bans and we can fulfill the entire schedule. We are also working with powersport dealers to host rides again next year.
