A viable club relies on a dedicated Board of Directors in order to be successful, but even more important is a strong membership to ensure there are lots of volunteers to help share the trail work and become future board members. It is the number and strength of the membership that is the reward for the board to know that their efforts are appreciated. A strong board ensures that members also enjoy the region and the wonderful riding opportunities afforded to them in the Belair Forest and surrounding areas. Our club runs with the help of these wonderful dedicated people.

We could use your help!

There is a lot more to running a successful club than many riders imagine. It is all about riders helping fellow riders. We make a point of valuing every contribution, big or small. We can find a place for you in our club; a place that will match your time availability and skill sets. If you are not sure you feel confident about how to do some of the tasks, not to worry, learning new things first hand is half the fun and we will mentor all members who volunteer to help. We are especially interested in filling any vacancies on our Board of Directors. If you would enjoy meeting new friends and feeling the satisfaction of helping out, please consider joining our volunteer team! Please contact us by e-mail at [email protected] or talk to one of our Board Directors.

  • Some volunteers organize club rides and events like poker derbies, safety clinics, bud, spud and steak fundraising and many other events.
  • Volunteers work on trail repair, hazard removal and brushing to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable ride experience.
  • Many volunteers spend countless hours working behind the scenes in planning and attending meetings, talking to landowners, administration of insurance, management of paper work and finances of the club, planning events, maintaining web pages, just to mention a few of the necessary tasks required to operate a club.
  • Volunteers are a vital part of any club and are always appreciated.
