August has arrived and with it comes the hot summer days and great rides. Our club ride at Camp Hughs with the Westman club was well attended with 47 people. It was a great experience and Westman again delivered an exciting ride experience. Thank you Tyrus and Ernie for leading our group.

Bryan Krieg, Nash Guindi and Bill Marsh have been on the trails throughout July and they are getting things brushed, signed and groomed with the help of some awesome volunteers. There is a lot more work to be done and we could use more volunteers to come out. If your interested in helping the club please sign up when Nash posts on our Facebook page.

August will see the trail work continuing and we hope that by September we will have most of the brushing and signage done. We are running both tractors and using all our implements. Bryan has been grooming the Belair forest with the drag we bought and Bill has been working on the Whistle Pig Rail Trail with the brush mower and TR3 groomer. Nash has been working with volunteers to assist Bryan in the forest with saws and other hand tools to clear brush and to install missing or damaged signs. Together we have a great team of workers and volunteers. Riders are happy with the results.

Until next month we hope that everyone has a safe and fun summer with lots of rides and great memories.
