May is here and that means riding and trail work time. On easter Monday the club lost one of our bridges on the Whistle Pig trail closer to Pinefalls-Powerview due to a wildfire. There are signs up marking the closure of the trail. We had our first AGM on April 26 and it went well. As the club was having the ride after the meeting and bbq there was a large fire in Traverse Bay. This fire and many others has prompted the municipalities to close the back country on municipal lands. As of May 2, 2025 the eastern part of the province will be shout down for all back country travel as per government of Manitoba press release. The weather is finally gotten warm, real warm. We need rain for things to green up so we can get back on our trails but until then the club will be only riding on trails that are open and our trail work in the forests are now suspended until further notice. We also have our online apparel store open. You can make a purchase at Merchandise – Belair ATV Club  happy shopping.

On another note…. I guess its time to go fishing.

Happy May everyone.
